Your MLO Doesn’t Care About ESX or QBCore — Your Jobs Do

“Does this MLO work with QBCore?” is usually the wrong question. A FiveM MLO is a map resource and streams the same on ESX, QBCore, QBox, and standalone stacks. What cares about your framework is everything pointing into the building: ambulance beds, police lockers, mechanic lifts, housing entrances, doorlocks, and target zones.

Map layer vs framework layer

The map layer is geometry, collisions, portals, props, and the fxmanifest/stream files. The framework layer is behavior: coords, duty zones, door hashes, inventories, and targets. Install and stage the MLO first; fix IPL or remove conflicts; then update framework configs and retest with a non-admin character.

Universal after-install checklist

  1. Entrance and reception interact points.
  2. Duty, off-duty, cloakroom, lockers, and boss menus.
  3. Garage, vehicle spawn, and helipad coordinates.
  4. Beds, lifts, crafting benches, stashes, and special props.
  5. Doorlocks and map blips.

Prefer seller docs or measure coords in-game on staging. Never copy vectors from another SKU.

EMS and Pillbox

Hospital replacements often need both IPL cleanup and updated ambulance resources. Check ambulance garage, reception, treatment beds, surgery zones, lockers, pharmacy, and boss desks. Run dispatch → garage → triage → bed → checkout; if any step snaps to the old building, a coordinate remains.

PD and Mission Row

Police replacements need public lobby, duty, cloakroom, armory, briefing, booking, cells, evidence, garage, impound, and helipad coordinates. Fix dual interiors first, then rehash doors. A perfect map with jail scripts using old cells is still unfinished.
