FiveM Map
This section covers every map resource in the catalogue, from full MLO interiors to small edits that change one corner of the city. If you want a new place for players to drive to, hang out in or fight over, it is listed here, next to the narrower categories like hospitals, mechanic shops and houses.
Before you add a map, think about two things. First, location: two maps that edit the same block will fight each other, so check the coordinates on the product page and read our IPL conflict and clipping guide if you already run a lot of maps. Second, weight: big detailed builds use streaming memory, and a dozen of them in one area can hurt players on lower-end PCs. The FiveM MLO performance guide shows what to test.
Maps are server-side resources, so they work the same on ESX, QBCore, QBox or a custom stack. Files are in your account after checkout, and the install is the usual routine from how to install a FiveM MLO: resources folder, ensure line, restart.

FiveM maps for roleplay servers
A good map setup is what makes players feel like they are in a real city rather than on a test server. This category brings together the map resources in the FiveM MLOs catalogue: full MLO interiors, YMAP edits that change a street or a lot, and reworked locations that give an old corner of Los Santos a new purpose. If you only want interiors, the FiveM MLO category is narrower. If you are planning the city as a whole, start here.
Types of FiveM maps you will find here
MLO interiors
MLOs add enterable buildings with their own rooms, props and collisions: police stations, hospitals, garages, houses, clubs and businesses. They are what most servers mean when they say "maps".
YMAP edits and exterior changes
A YMAP adds or changes objects in the open world, such as a parking lot, a fenced compound, props around a job site or a reworked frontage. Browse the FiveM YMAPs for edits like the Police Training Ymap or the Weed Farm YMAP.
Landmarks and destination spots
Some maps exist to give players somewhere to go together: a park, a club or a strange one-off location. See the park maps and club houses when you want events rather than jobs.
Plan your map layout before you buy
Map the city by job, not by building
Write down the jobs and groups your server actually runs (police, EMS, mechanics, gangs, businesses), then give each one a home. That list tells you which maps you need and stops you buying three nightclubs and no hospital. Our priority stack guide suggests a buy order for new and rebuilding cities.
One edit per location
Two maps that change the same spot will clash. You see z-fighting textures, doubled collisions, missing props or a building that loads as an empty shell. Keep a simple list of every location your current resources touch, and check each new map's product page against it. The IPL and map conflicts guide explains how to find overlaps and disable the vanilla interior.
Spread the load across the city
Packing several detailed maps into one neighborhood can hurt client performance when players gather there. Spreading busy locations across the map, and testing crowded spots on a staging server, avoids surprises. The performance guide covers streaming, portals and what a resmon number can and cannot tell you.
Load order matters
If you use an IPL loader, start it before the maps that override it, then start each map resource. When a map does not appear, test it alone before re-enabling everything else.
What to check on a map's product page
Every map listing in the shop has its own page. Before you buy, use it to answer a few practical questions, so the map fits your city the first time:
- Location: which street, building or area does it use, and does anything you already run touch the same spot?
- Type: is it an enterable MLO interior, a YMAP edit to the open world, or both?
- Requirements: does the page mention a game build, DLC props or another resource it depends on?
- Use: which of your jobs or groups will actually use it, and where will their markers, doors and stashes go?
- Preview: do the images show the parts your players will use most, like entrances, parking and main rooms?
If anything is unclear, ask support before checkout. It is quicker than fixing a clash after the map is live.
Common FiveM map setups
Emergency services district
Pair a station from the police department MLOs with a hospital from the hospital MLOs. The Pillbox Hospital guide and the Mission Row PD guide explain what replaces what.
Car scene
A garage from the mechanic MLOs, such as the Redline Tuner Shop and VIP Showroom, gives mechanics and racers a shared base. Add a meet spot from the car club maps.
Criminal underworld
Mix hideouts from the gang MLOs with labs from the drug maps, for example the Pablito Vagos Hideout MLO and the Cocaine Underground MLO, so police have places to raid.
Living city
Fill the gaps with houses, restaurants, bars and offices. Civilian players need places to work too.
After checkout
After checkout, your map files are in your FiveM MLOs account. Follow how to install a FiveM MLO. The steps are the same for most map resources: folder into resources, an ensure line in server.cfg, clear cache, restart. Need a hand? Reach support through the contact page or Discord, and see the refund policy for how issues are handled.
FiveM maps FAQ
What is the difference between FiveM maps and MLOs?
"Maps" is the wider term. It covers MLO interiors, YMAP edits to the open world and reworked locations. An MLO is specifically an enterable interior.
Do FiveM maps depend on my framework?
Map resources stream the same on ESX, QBCore, QBox and standalone servers. Framework only matters for the scripts you connect to the location, like jobs, doors and stashes.
Why does my new map flicker or have invisible walls?
Almost always because another map or a default IPL loads in the same place. Remove or disable the overlap, restart the server and clear your cache.
Can I use several maps from different creators together?
Yes, as long as they do not edit the same location and your players' hardware can handle the streaming in busy areas. Test new combinations on a staging server first.
Where do I download a map after buying?
In your FiveM MLOs account, after checkout. If a download link is missing, contact support with your order number.
