FiveM Church MLO for Weddings, Funerals and Community RP
Some of the most memorable nights on a roleplay server happen at a church. A wedding between two long-running characters, a funeral after a gang war, a memorial for a fallen officer, or a weekly service run by a player who takes the role seriously. Those scenes need a building that feels right, and the vanilla options don’t give players much to work with. This page covers the church interiors we carry at FiveM MLOs, what to check before you buy, and how to set one up so events run smoothly with a crowd inside.
Why a Church Is Worth the Slot
A church is one of the few buildings that brings together every part of a server. Police, EMS, gangs, business owners, and civilians all show up for the same wedding or funeral. That makes it a natural place for storylines to cross, and a good reason for players who never interact to end up in the same room.
It’s also low maintenance. Unlike a hospital or a police station, a church doesn’t need a full job script to be useful. Doorlocks, a few staff members, and some emotes are enough to run a ceremony. If your server already has active community leaders or event staff, a church gives them somewhere to work.
Church MLOs at FiveM MLOs
We carry three church interiors. Open each product page for the current gallery and description before you buy a FiveM MLO for events.
- FiveM Church MLO: the listing describes a detailed church interior for weddings, events, and religious services.
- FiveM Church House MLO: the listing describes a church space for worship, prayer, weddings, meetings, and community gatherings.
- Children of The Mountain Church: the listing describes a detailed, lore-friendly church built from a temple interior, made for prayer and communal RP. It also notes that the map is pre-built and that modifying it may cause bugs, so it’s best used as is.
You can browse more interiors in the FiveM MLO category. For the reception or after-party, the FiveM house MLO category has homes that work well for private events.
What to Check Before You Buy
None of the listings give seat counts or room counts, so we don’t either. The gallery is your guide. Go through it with whoever runs events on your server and look for:
The main hall
- Enough pews or seating for the crowd you expect at a big wedding
- A clear aisle and an altar or stage area for the officiant
- Sightlines from the back, so guests can actually see the ceremony
Side rooms and exterior
- A side room or office where the wedding party can wait
- Somewhere staff can store props or event items
- An exterior that works for photos, arrivals, and a funeral procession
- Parking for guests and room for an escort to line up
If a space isn’t shown in the gallery or named in the listing, plan as if it isn’t there.
Performance with a full house
Events are when a church gets stress-tested. Fifty players in one room is a very different load from five. Test on a staging server with a realistic crowd before your first big event. If you’re deciding which FiveM MLOs to keep loaded, the 2026 FiveM MLO priority stack can help you weigh a church against everything else.
Running Weddings and Funerals
You don’t need a dedicated wedding script to run good ceremonies. Many servers manage with:
- Doorlocks so staff can open the church only for scheduled events
- A staff member or trusted player acting as officiant
- Emotes for sitting, kneeling, and the ceremony itself
- An in-city announcement so guests know when to arrive
Funerals often bring in other departments. Police may run an escort, EMS may attend for a fallen medic, and gangs may show up for one of their own. Plan routes and parking ahead of time so the exterior doesn’t turn into a traffic jam.
Setting Up Doors and Zones
Because the MLO is a map, it doesn’t care which framework you run. After install, update your existing resources:
- Doorlock entries for the main doors and any side rooms or storage
- Target or zone points for seating or event props, if your stack uses them
- Coordinates for any booking or event script you add later
Avoiding Conflicts
If walls flicker or doors don’t block anything, another resource is using the same space. Check whether a second church map, a civic building, or an IPL loader such as bob74_ipl touches the same footprint, and don’t load two church interiors for the same building. Our guide to FiveM MLO IPL conflicts shows how to find the cause.
Quick Install Steps
Download the files from your FiveM MLOs account, place the resource in your resources folder, add its ensure line to server.cfg, and restart a test server. Walk the entrance, main hall, altar, any side rooms, and the exterior, then set your doorlocks. The full walkthrough is in how to install a FiveM MLO.

FAQ
Can players run weddings without a wedding script?
Yes. Many servers use doorlocks, emotes, announcements, and a staff officiant. A script is optional and mostly helps with bookings.
How many people can sit inside?
The listings don’t give a seat count. Check the gallery, then seat staff on a test server and set your event cap from there.
Which church MLO should I choose?
Pick the one whose gallery matches the events your server runs most. Compare the main hall, side rooms, and exterior in each.
Can I edit the interior?
It depends on the map. The Children of The Mountain Church listing recommends using it as is, and the FiveM Church House MLO FAQ says the interior isn’t meant to be changed. For the FiveM Church MLO, check the product page or contact support.
Does it work with my framework?
The MLO is a map, so it doesn’t run framework logic. Your doorlock and event scripts handle that once you update their coordinates.
