Ocean Hospital MLO for FiveM

A lot of servers start EMS at Pillbox, and for a while that works. Then the population grows, medics start stacking up in one downtown building, and every patient transfer turns into the same drive. That’s usually when server owners start looking at a second hospital. This page covers what the Ocean Hospital MLO is good for, what to check before you buy it, how it compares with the other medical interiors we carry at FiveM MLOs, and how to get it running without fighting your existing map stack.

When a Second Hospital Makes Sense

A second hospital isn’t just more square footage. It changes how EMS plays. With two medical locations, you can split a department into stations, run transfer calls between them, give a private or county hospital its own staff and leadership, or keep one building for big trauma scenes while the other handles routine visits.

Ocean Hospital is a good fit if you want a full hospital setting that isn’t another Pillbox rebuild. If your players expect the classic downtown ER and you only want one medical hub, start with our Pillbox Hospital MLO guide instead and come back to Ocean when you need the extra capacity.

What the Ocean Hospital Listing Describes

The FiveM Ocean Hospital MLO listing describes fully furnished patient rooms, operating theaters, reception areas, and staff offices, with modern furnishings and medical equipment. It also says some elements can be adapted to fit your server. That covers the core loop of a medical shift: check-in at the front desk, treatment in a patient room, surgery when a scene calls for it, and paperwork in the back.

We don’t list floor counts, bed counts, or extras like a helipad on this page, because the listing doesn’t spell them out. The gallery is your source of truth. If a room isn’t shown in the screenshots or named in the description, plan as if it isn’t there.

What to Check Before You Buy

Sit down with your EMS leads and go through the product gallery together. A lot of hospital regrets come from a missing room that nobody thought to look for. Confirm the things your department actually uses on shift:

Rooms your EMS team needs

  • A reception or waiting area, so civilians don’t wander into treatment rooms
  • Enough patient rooms or beds for a busy night on your server
  • Operating theaters if your server runs surgery RP
  • Staff offices, a break space, or somewhere medics can file reports
  • Any extras you rely on, such as a garage, ambulance bay, or roof access, only if the gallery shows them

Location and access

Check where the building sits on the map in the gallery and the readme, then think about response times. A second hospital works best when it covers an area your first one doesn’t. Walk the route an ambulance would take and make sure there’s somewhere sensible to park and unload.

Performance

Detailed medical interiors stream a lot of props. Test Ocean on a staging server with a realistic player count before you put it live, especially if you already run several large MLOs. If you need to decide what earns a spot in your stream budget, the 2026 FiveM MLO priority stack is a good way to rank your maps.

Ocean Hospital and Other Medical MLOs at FiveM MLOs

If you’re comparing hospitals before you buy a FiveM MLO for EMS, here are four of the medical interiors we stock. Open each product page for the current gallery and full description.

  • FiveM Ocean Hospital MLO: the listing describes patient rooms, operating theaters, reception areas, and staff offices.
  • FiveM MZ Hospital MLO: the listing describes a multi-level medical center with emergency rooms, operating theaters, patient wards, labs, and administrative areas.
  • Paleto Hospital MLO: the listing describes emergency rooms, operating theaters, and patient wards in Paleto Bay, which makes it a natural pick for north county coverage.
  • FiveM Illegal Hospital MLO: an underground facility. The listing describes operating rooms, patient wards, and laboratories, aimed at criminal or off-the-books medical RP rather than your main EMS station.

You can compare every medical interior in the FiveM hospital MLO category, or browse the full range of FiveM MLOs in our shop.

Running Ocean Alongside Pillbox

Two hospitals can live on the same server as long as they don’t occupy the same space. Problems start when two resources try to edit one building or one block. Before you go live, check:

  • Whether Ocean is built as an add-on location or replaces an existing interior
  • Whether another map you already stream touches the same footprint or parking
  • Whether an IPL loader such as bob74_ipl, or an older map pack, loads something in that area
  • That you aren’t running two interiors built for the same hospital building

Flickering walls, missing floors, and doors you can walk through are usually a conflict, not a broken map. Our guide to FiveM MLO IPL conflicts walks through how to find the resource causing it.

Pointing Your EMS Scripts at the New Building

The MLO is the building. Your ambulance job, billing, wounds, and bed logic still come from the scripts you already run. What changes is where they point. After install, plan to update:

  • Duty and clock-in points for the new station
  • Check-in, bed, and respawn coordinates
  • Pharmacy, stash, and locker locations
  • Ambulance garage and vehicle spawn points
  • Doorlocks and target zones for staff-only rooms

Decide early whether Ocean is a full second station or an overflow hospital, because that changes which of these you need.

Quick Install Steps

Download the files from your FiveM MLOs account, drop the resource into your server’s resources folder, add its ensure line to server.cfg, and restart a test server. Then walk the whole building with a medic: doors, stairs, collisions, lighting, and every spot your scripts depend on. The full walkthrough is in how to install a FiveM MLO. Once EMS is sorted, the Mission Row PD MLO guide covers the police side of many medical calls.

FAQ

Is Ocean Hospital a Pillbox replacement?

Treat it as its own hospital unless the product page says it replaces something. It works as a second medical location next to Pillbox, or as the main hospital on a server that doesn’t use Pillbox at all.

Can Ocean and Pillbox run at the same time?

Yes, as long as they don’t share a footprint and you’re not loading two interiors for the same building. Test both on a staging server before going live.

How many beds or floors does it have?

The listing doesn’t give a number, so we don’t either. Count from the product gallery, and if you need something specific, contact support before you buy.

Does it work with my framework?

The MLO is a map, so it doesn’t run framework logic. Your existing EMS job handles that. You’ll just update its coordinates for the new building.

Do I need a separate EMS script?

Yes. The MLO gives your medics somewhere to work. Revives, billing, and duty status still come from your ambulance job resource.
